Layered PAPERCUT Tutorial

Paper cutting has become one of my favorite ways of psychotherapy. Today I’m bringing it to a new level and I’m going to share some tips about making a layered papercut – a portrait, drawing, landscape…

I’ve been experimenting for a while now to find an efficient way to make such pieces of art, layering intricate pieces of papers can be quite challenging and nerve-wracking.

To get all the information, click on the video below where I’ll explain the whole process from start to finish.

The secret to making a perfectly realistic papercut is to follow the layers of colors, how they interact and which one is superior to other. IMG_1206

It is also important to remember that even if you fail, you’ll know what not to do next time and that way you’ll only get better. If you’re a beginner, try out smaller photos first, plus a paper and a craft knife you are comfortable with.IMG_1218

The end result is quite mesmerizing, so give it a try! Remember that I’m always here to help you if you get stuck.
