Paper cutting has become one of my favorite ways of psychotherapy. Today I’m bringing it to a new level and I’m going to share some tips about making a layered papercut – a portrait, drawing, landscape…
I’ve been experimenting for a while now to find an efficient way to make such pieces of art, layering intricate pieces of papers can be quite challenging and nerve-wracking.
To get all the information, click on the video below where I’ll explain the whole process from start to finish.
The secret to making a perfectly realistic papercut is to follow the layers of colors, how they interact and which one is superior to other.
It is also important to remember that even if you fail, you’ll know what not to do next time and that way you’ll only get better. If you’re a beginner, try out smaller photos first, plus a paper and a craft knife you are comfortable with.
The end result is quite mesmerizing, so give it a try! Remember that I’m always here to help you if you get stuck.
